Threads of Love is a 501(c) charitable organization with chapters located across the United States and London. This charity is dedicated to helping sick infants or those who have died after childbirth by offering them a packet full of goodies, such as a baby cap, gown, doll, and healing prayer. There are many ways to get involved in this worthy cause.
The charity also provides clothing, blankets, and other handmade items to tiny premature and sick infants as a way to show God’s love and compassion to parents and families who are in unspeakable pain or going through a period of uncertainty with their newborn infant.
The mission of Threads of Love is to show God’s love and to offer comfort to the family members and loved ones of tiny premature and sick infants in their time of uncertainty. The goal of this charity is to help those who are in incomprehensible pain so that they might know a certain kind of peace and serenity that goes beyond the situation they are currently in.
The gifts for those families in need include packets, which are made of a crocheted or knitted baby cap, a day gown, a lovie doll, and a prayer for healing. At this time, I believe that in order to follow the mission of Threads of Love, you need to offer your gift by saying the Serenity Prayer for the families that will receive your homemade gift.
Threads of Love helps parents who have lost their infants through miscarriage, stillbirth, or illness. The charity is dedicated to giving these families homemade packets, showing God’s love through their craft skills.
The cause was made to silently tell these parents that “You are loved.” All of the homemade items are made by volunteers and donated materials. Any type of sewing talent is appreciated.
